What Regina Transit asks for

  • Applicants are screened for Grade 12 or GED, at least a Class 5 driver’s licence, a suitable driving record and work history, and experience working with the public. (source)
  • After a verbal job offer, candidates must provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check and proof that they passed the SGI written exam for a Class 2 learner’s licence with air endorsement. (source)
  • Successful candidates begin a six-week training program with the City of Regina Transit Department. (source)
  • Regina Transit runs seven days a week, so shifts can include split shifts, weekends, early mornings, late nights and statutory holidays, and scheduling is based on seniority. (source)
