What HSR asks for
- Applicants need a valid Ontario class G driver’s licence with a point-free driving record for the three years before application and hire. (source)
- Bus operators must be able to obtain and keep a class C–Z Ontario licence, and must upgrade to class C–Z to secure permanent, full-time status. (source)
- New hires receive six weeks of paid, on-the-job training. (source)
- Two to three years of commercial driving experience is preferred; previous transit bus driving is an asset. (source)
