Independent preparation. Sources you can check.
TransitPrep helps transit operator applicants practise reading maps, schedules, signs and local information. BusOperatorTest is our free learning site.
How the two sites fit together
TransitPrep provides study guides and paid city practice packs. BusOperatorTest provides a free sample quiz, a route-reading lesson and local preparation guides. Both are operated under the TransitPrep brand. Neither site is a transit agency, licensing authority, employer or examination provider.
Our editorial method
We write original exercises and link agency facts to official public sources. City guides show their source-check date. We distinguish a job notice, a training pathway and a passenger-information page; none automatically proves the format of a hiring test. We do not publish leaked or recalled exam questions, claim an official pass mark, or promise employment.
Our broader directory covers selected major cities, regional centres and metro areas in Canada and the United States. A metro guide may serve several neighbouring municipalities. The directory labels paid packs separately from free guides. Inclusion does not mean a vacancy is currently open.
When a source changes
Recruitment rounds, routes and qualifications change. Follow the current employer notice over this website. Check the source before applying or travelling. If you find an error, send the page address and the official correction to [email protected].
What a score means
A practice score tells you how you performed on our exercise. It is not a prediction of a real assessment result, and it does not satisfy a licence, training or employer requirement.
